"The journey to financial freedom starts the MINUTE you decide you were destined for prosperity, not scarcity...for abundance, not lack." ~Mark Victor Hansen
I don’t’ know anyone who doesn’t hold financial abundance as something they want in their life. Having financial freedom is a dream of most everyone I know. It is the desire to know that we will always have more than enough money to pay for whatever we need, and also to buy and do whatever we want whenever we want to.
How often have you heard stories about individuals who have risen to great wealth during a difficult financial period? What have these financially successful people done that sets them apart from most everyone else? And what can we do differently to create the financial success we want so badly?
Stay in the present moment focused on what you want, feeling good. Sometimes we reflect on things that have happened to us in the past so often, we don't realize how they are affecting our current situation. They are like an undercurrent of thoughts that never leave us, and we drag them into our future. As a result, we create more similar experiences that we may not enjoy along the way.
But, here is the truth!..
It doesn’t have to be this way for you or anyone else ever again. You simply have to change your mindset about the topic of money. Why? Because the most amazing thing is that your past (even your most recent past... as in one moment ago) has nothing to do with your future results if you don’t allow it to! It is not what has happened to you before that is important, but what you are feeling right now, at this very moment. What you feel right now around the subject of finances (and everything else for that matter) is shaping your future. How you see your situation now, and how you feel about it, is creating your life.
Here are a few steps to get you started:
1. Be grateful for what you do have right now, no matter how much that is, so that you feel better. Understand the importance of gratitude. When you are truly grateful for something, you evoke deep and positive feelings. Robert Emmons of the University of California at Davis, a leading authority on gratitude, states that gratitude can actually change the outcome of a situation. You actually create more of what you want by being grateful for what you already have (in this case, more money!).
2. Be specific in noticing what you have presently. Focus on it by writing down 3 things each day in a notebook or journal. If you want more clients focus on being thankful for those that you do have. As you write about those clients, feel happy that you have them. If you want more money, start by being grateful for every dollar you have. As you do this repeatedly, you will begin to see more opportunities arise for more clients and to make more money. Then you must act on those opportunities with confidence, and feeling good will allow you to do just that as you will feel more inspired than ever before!
3. The next step to financial abundance is determining what you truly want. The more specific your goal is, the better. Write it down and focus on it with unwavering faith. Writing down your goals and desires helps you articulate, define, and clarify your intention. Decide clearly what you want. Focus on it with unwavering faith. Dream big and feel the joy as you think about having what you want as though you already have it. Put a picture in your mind that represents the outcome you want and Visualize about it daily feeling how good it feels, as if you already have it.
4. List the actions you can take right now to start increasing your finances, with the information you have at hand, and from exactly where you are at. Get started now, be relaxed about it, and have fun creating what you want! This three-lane highway to success....positive thoughts, happy feelings, and inspired focused action....will always get you the results you want.
