Whatever You Talk about, You Create More of It

“Langauge creates reality. Words have power.Speak always to create joy.” ~Deepak Chopra

As the creator of your very own world, what you say goes... literally. So, be sure to choose your words wisely. Words have the ability to take us to amazing places, and are like the paint that shapes the landscape of our reality. So, we must first take control of the thoughts that we think, then of the words that follow, and ensure that these thoughts and words make us feel good! Because, remember, when we feel good, we create the reality that we desire.

Here is what is so important about the power of words. When we speak about something or someone, our emotions around that topic become stronger. The energy of our words becomes amplified, and creates more of whatever it is that we are talking about.

So, how can you use your words to get positive results? (And get them quickly!) Turn this concept into focused actions. Try these tips to get you started.

1. Take time to filter your thoughts before you speak them. Speak words that make you feel joyful and loving. When something good happens to you or someone else, shout it out to the world around you. Talk about it over and over again. That makes the positive emotions stronger, and they create more of what it is that you are talking about. So, when you’re excited about that small or big sale, share it with others using words of gratitude. When you have improved health and you want more of it, talk about your recovery in positive terms, and leave out the rest. When you experience improvements in your relationships, speak about these improvements and the other person in the most wonderful, lovable way!

No matter what it is that you want more of, focus on and talk about what you already have with gratitude. This creates even more improvement and, before you know it, more of what you want begins to show up in your reality.

2. Speak kind words to yourself. Of course, the power of the spoken word goes beyond talking to others. What is it that you are telling yourself? Are your inner thoughts about yourself kind and loving? Remember, you create everything in your life, including you. So, be sure that the words you speak to yourself, day in and day out, reflect who you really want to be, what you want to do, and whatever you want to have.

How can you do this?

Affirm who you are, your dreams, your hopes, and your successes with the most powerful words that you can ever utter – “I am...”

“ I am” are the two most incredibly powerful, creative words in the Universe, and should be considered the most precious words that you have in your vocabulary. How we end the sentence that begins with “I am” defines who we are to ourselves and to everyone around us.

So, when you say "I am...” be sure to use only words around them that create a magnificent reality for yourself. Words such as, "I am incredible," "I am brilliant," "I am beautiful," "I am confident," "I am successful," "I am perfectly healthy and youthful," "I am happy," "I am an amazing person with unique gifts and talents."

As you do this, you are beginning to create and define a new reality for yourself. This is your truth, so why not remind yourself of what and who you really are. Choose this higher expression of the real you that already exists!

Know that following this advice can truly change your life and the life of others around you. Once you know and understand this connection between your heart and your words, you have the power to live a better life…one filled with more joy, abundance, and magic!
