“We think so often that we are helpless, but we're not. We always have the power of our minds…Claim and consciously use your power.” ~ Louise L. Hay
Little Gems of Wisdom & Fun from Mary Lynn Ziemer
In order to use the power of our mind in the way it is intended, we always have to begin with the basics.
First, and most importantly, it begins with "us." It begins with us understanding how amazing we have been created to be. We are incredibly brilliant beings with the fantastic ability to be, do, and have whatever we want, all in a way that feels so good. We can have more freedom, find purpose in our lives, have better health, create more wealth, have more loving relationships, and get hired for that fun job that pays well. We can feel deep, authentic happiness at the same time too. And yes, it is even possible to make real miracles happen. Personally, I have the honor of seeing them occur often for my clients, so I know they can happen for everyone. The key to all of this is in achieving calmness. Calmness creates patience. And with patience, we create what we desire more quickly.
For example, this summer one of my clients changed their 15 year old son’s growing habit of playing games on the computer for 15 hours a day to a teen who became engaged in a number of other healthy activities. He now has a balanced, active, happier life. He got a job, starting running for his school’s track and field team every day, began other sports activities, and made new friends. All within a few week’s time. A lot of people noticed the dramatic change in his persona quickly, and commented on it.
What did she really do? She changed how she saw him, changed how she talked to him, and changed her actions toward him. Overall, she created a new story about him and saw his potential for happiness and success. She started feeling good about who he is again by changing her view of him, and then he lived up to her newfound belief in him.
Second, we need to understand that we create everything in our lives by the way we feel. So, if we want to create what we desire, we need to feel good. There are many ways of achieving that, but the easiest and the most important one is to feel love and gratitude. When we feel love and gratitude throughout our day, we feel good consistently. Love and gratitude create calmness. So, we need to feel love for everyone and everything, including ourselves, and we must be grateful for everything that we have. It really is very simple and very easy. Just saying in your mind as you go through your day– "I love you" and "thank you" for everything and to everyone. After a few repetitions, you are going to feel it.
We need to know what we want and ask for it. We are creative beings, and everything in our lives, can be the product of our own wishes. The beautiful fact is, the past and future have nothing to do with our present experience, unless we continue to focus on it. Here’s an Abraham Hicks quote that explains it well.
"People often believe that because something happened, and because it is a fact or true, that it should be focused upon, and therefore kept vibrationally (how we feel) active. And so many people keep many things active that do not serve them (in their desire to feel good and have what they want).
If we were standing in your physical shoes, we would not keep something active in our vibration (feelings) just because it had happened. We would only keep things active that we want to repeat in our life experience." ~ Abraham-Hicks
Third, we can create new, more enjoyable, situations and circumstances if and when we desire. How do we do this? We need to script the perfect outcome. Create a new story in your mind and script the outcome you want by having a picture, a "snapshot," of what you want in your mind. For years, athletes have been taught to visualize. Whether it’s seeing the golf ball go in the cup or watching the football player kick his field goal through the goal post. They have been taught to visualize the result that they want.
Here’s how to do it. If we want this person or situation to be perfect, what would it look like? The more things we script the more incredible our lives become. Imagine you are the scriptwriter of a movie that is your life. How would you like your movie to unfold? What would you like it to look like? Most important to remember is this. You script it by having a picture in your mind of the desired outcome, while feeling lots of love for whatever is in that picture.
This is the incredibly simple way to creating an easy, happy, and fun life.
Have an absolutely magical day full of love gratitude and fun, fun, fun!
